The Grand Winner, all five Category Winners, and a curated selection of the top-rated entries (Top 10 per category) will:

• Be featured in the official Virtual Gallery,

• Be published in a special supplement of Photographos magazine,

• Have the opportunity to prezend their work at the next Great Photo Awards Exhibition, held as part of the 18th Photovision Art & Image+Tech Expo (Athens, March, 2026).

• The Grand Winner will also be featured in an exclusive interview and portfolio on photo.gr and gphotoawards.com.

Each 1st place category winner receives:

• €250 in cash

The Grand Winner also wins three days hotel accommodation in Greece.
Shortlisted and distinguished photographers are eligible to exhibit their work in Athens (subject to a small participation fee).
All top entries will be highlighted on the competition’s social media, magazine features, and official Virtual Gallery.
All selected photographers receive a Certificate of Participation.

Note: Local prizes sponsored by Greek companies are only awarded to participants residing permanently in Greece.

Yes, in order to preserve jury neutrality during judging no watermarks are allowed. Photos should not be readily identifiable and attributed to specific photographer.

Absolutely! You can submit photos taken with any device – smartphones included.

No. Each submission must be under one name for technical and copyright reasons.

No. There’s no time limit – photos from any period are welcome.

Yes. If your photos feature recognizable individuals, you must have their written or verbal permission. By submitting, you confirm that such consent has been obtained.

All submitted photos will be used solely for the promotion of the Great Photo Awards (e.g. virtual gallery, printed features, exhibitions, and social media), always with credit to the photographer.
Photos will not be sold, transferred, or used commercially.

Winners and runners-up will be notified by email before public announcement.
The official results will be published on gphotoawards.com and all associated media shortly afterwards.

Yes. Entry fees are:

• Early Bird: €25 per category (up to 10 photos)

• Regular Fee: €40 per category (up to 10 photos)

Bonus: You can submit 1 photo per category for free during the Early Bird period!

Shortlisted and highly ranked photographers will be invited to exhibit their work at the 18th Photovision Art & Image+Tech Expo 2026 in Athens.
Participation is optional and subject to a small printing & setup fee per photo, due by January 16, 2026.
Organizers will contact eligible photographers between November and December, 2025.
If any technical or legal issue arises, the participation fee will be refunded.
