Official Opening and celebrated Colorful World photo exhibition at Athens, Zappeion Megaron, Oct.11-13.2024
The 3rd round of Great Photo Awards competition under the theme “Colorful World” was celebrated as a prime event with a glorious exhibition in the framework of Photovision ART, Oct. 11-13 at Zappeion Megaron, Athens Greece. Photovision ART was organized by Photographos magazine, the oldest prominent photo publication in Greece, being issued steadily since 1989. An multifold art exhibition, a forum, a meeting place and reference point for art photography, Photovision Art hosted the works of 386 contemporary photographers from 30 countries with 23 individual photo exhibitions as well as lectures and workshops, attacting 7350 visitors at the ample premises of Zappeion Megaron, the foremost central venue in the centre of Greece’s capital.
All visitors commented highly of the creative talents, the technical prowess and the underlying inspiration of the winners and runners up of Colorful World exhibition, which was one of the most important aspects of Photovision ART. The visitors were very much impressed and in their feedback suggested that this positive initiative should continue and expand.
