The 2nd Great Photo Awards 2023-24 photo contest is now open for entries until Feb. 14 2024

Great Photo Awards are established with the ambition to become a point of merit for high standard photography. Following the success of the first contest, we continue with “Portrait World”, an ever popular photo subject and a tribute to the expressive power of humans around the world. Entry to this year’s awards is open to photo enthusiasts from all over the world who feel creative in portrait photography.

The new theme, “Portrait World”, has five categories open for entries:

● My Favorite portrait ● Ethnic portrait ● Environmental | Work portrait ● Group portrait ● Self portrait

We are excited to welcome once again a diverse and inspired range of images from all over the world to enter the contest.

Jury

The judging of the Great Photo Awards 2023-24 “Portrait World” photo contest takes place in Feb. 2024. Jury members are:

Belgium: Pascal Baetens | Editorial photographer for lifestyle magazines and author of numerous photographic books
Cyprus: Elena Paraskeva | International Conceptual Photographer, Art Director and Adobe official instructor
Greece: Panagiotis Kaldis | Photographos Magazine editor
Romania: Mihaela Noroc | Photographer & public speaker
Spain: Alfonso del Barrio | Photo magazine publisher & editor
UK: Sanjay Jogia | Wedding & Portrait Photographer

Prizes

The winners will claim high value prizes and they will receive global media attention and exposure.

The 10 most voted photos in each category will be receiving honorable mentions and will be uploaded to the virtual gallery.

An art exhibition with the most voted photos will be held at 15th PHOTOVISION & IMAGE+TECH photo fair (in Athens, Greece, April 5-7, 2024).
A selection of photos will be published in Photographos magazine, as an online portfolio in www.photo.gr and social media.
