Yellow marguerites in blue
«…This photo belongs to two of my thematic sections, «marguerites» and «yellow-blue». It was created and set up from scratch by attributing special importance to composition, color and lighting.
The existence of only two complementary colors, warm yellow and cool blue, forms a combination that gives a dynamic effect and at the same time color harmony. Also the yellow-blue ratio is not far from the Goethe rule.
In terms of lighting, the technique was as simple as possible, having natural lighting from a window on the left and a reflector on the right.
I think still life generally does not require complex lighting, either natural or artificial…»
